oh okay, what don't you know? all you need to know is how to use the pen tool. there. there is vectoring for you. 99% of the ones tell you everything you know.. don't you think that's enough to actually attempt something?

make you a tut on the octopus girl vector? what do you need to know, brobro? i used some stocks, and the pen tool. <-- nothing new, right? i didn't go into detail because i assume 99% of the tutorials you've read have covered using stocks and the pen tool. :D

haha, theres always new things to learn with ps. like earlier I learned a faster/better way to make curves with the pentool. Saves me a lot of time now. I want to know anything that'll save some time, like shortcuts or better ways to do certain things. Or anything im missing with pentooling. Im just trying to get better/faster at it. :)

and I am attempting something, im vectoring right now.

this. and don't use too many anchor points.

just practice.

I use a fckton of anchor points. Im trying to get better at the click n' drag method instead of outlining everything with anchors.

theres one thing thats bugging me, idk if it can be fixed or not.. but whenever I make a point + click and drag to make a curve, if I try to make a straight point from the last anchor it always randomly auto-curves.. it annoys me.

Speed isn't really important, for anything in design, unless your working for clients.

I know that, its just if I can save an hour of my time by doing 1 little thing different, and still get the same result, I would prefer that. as im sure anyone else would.

BIND YOUR OWN KEYS/COMMANDS AND MAKE YOUR OWN SHORTCUTS TO YOUR ADVANTAGE

i just so happen to have played first person shooters on the computer for a longass time, so i binded all the necessary shortcuts(eyedropper, move tool, pen tool etc.) around WASD.

i've been using the same key configs for forever. getting used to the different tools with your own keys improves workflow more than conc improves BH
