Hey guys, not sure if posting outside links is allowed in here.

A great friend of mine designed a sweet poster for the band Not A Planet for the Middle Of The Map Festival. Her poster is super awesome and it would be great if you guys could vote for her submission! You do have to register your email to vote, but we're all computer savvy gentlemen/women here and all have that one spam email we use for such things. The process is simple: vote for her poster which will prompt you to login or signup. Create a username and password, enter spam email, confirm account in said spam email! It literally took me 10 seconds! I've never asked for people to like something like this in my life, however, this is a dear friend of mine and I would like to help her anyway possible!

TBH a lot of the other posters are better imo..not trying to flame. A lot of the work is very impressive. The Big Black Delta poster is badass in terms of typography. Your friend's image is colored in linework. The stage isn't symmetrical, the scaffolding isn't equal thickness, the zig-zags look rushed, and the 4 lights are copy/pasted. There isn't anything special/custom about any of the text. It's just typed out fonts, although the kerning looks decent. I think what impresses me about some of the other submissions is not knowing exactly how their images were created, whereas I can count the layers of your friend's image and be able to recreate it. Vote brigading is silly.

I know nothing about graphic design. Didn't bother checking the other entries because this is my friends. Sometimes in life you support those you care about even if they aren't the best.

I'd actually recommend looking at the contest for anyone who likes print design. There are a ton of awesome entries on there. Given this one as an example, I kind of assumed it was all beginner designers, but this is definitely in the bottom 5-10. There are some very very good designs on there that display a lot of skill in lighting, composition, color palette, and vectoring.

I'm actually not sure how this entry has as many votes as it does, and honestly hope it doesn't end up in the top 10 or 20 as it doesn't deserve it. If your friend were to revisit this idea with proper knowledge and skill it could have potential, but right now it's just a rough sketch of an idea.
