I'm sure I could look up some tutorials or something but
I was just wondering what you guys recommend software wise, any tips/advice, things like that.
Mainly wanting to learn the basics of a program, probably illustrator, to get something cool going.

Self taught, I've been using photoshop since I was 13, got serious about it when I was 16, started it as a professional job at 22.
