I decided to start my own progression since i JUST started getting back into it

started feelin my groove again. so ill be posting sigs i make to better myself (not requested unless i feel i really did a good job)

stay away from text and borders

dont center focals, learn rule of thirds.

i was always taught the the focal is the main purpose? if you pull away from the focal

kinda pointless to have one to begin with? might as well make an abstract?

at least thats what i was told. Someone elaborate more on this preference?

borders are an old fad that sucks
focal should be on a third or close, because it's more pleasing to the eye (also easier to balance compo that way) centered makes it difficult and isn't often executed well
atm that light blob is the focal in your sig and takes all the attention
bg looks cool to me though, but depth is random
text is shitty, only add if it compliments the sig (also consider text just like adding any other effect, needs to be planned and incorporated, not just slapped on w/ a shitty clipping mask over it

Text isn't there to compliment as much as it is to watermark from stealing. Ik it isn't HUGE but meh i like it.

Yea my depth has always kinda been an issue as far as what to blur what to sharpen etc.

I really like this tag, the effects are quite cool and the colors are enjoyable, its got a good atmosphere. Not a huge fan of the text but whatever, bottom right is the weakest part
