hey there
render looks kind of low quality, are you holding shift while resizing it to keep the original proportions?
the background doesn't really match at all, not too sure what you're trying to do there
text is rather silly

overall it looks like you're fairly new to photoshop
photoshop is a HUGE program that takes a long time to sort of settle into
I recommend googling some tutorials on different styles and techniques and trying them out to see what you like

im extremely new lol... i use gimp tho not photoshop and ive been looking for tutorials all day.. found a few but nothing too helpful. even looked in the tut's here

a little better?

i still cant figure out why the render isnt sharp.. ive tried all the sharpen methods i can find.. its super crystal clear when its 1600x800 buth when i downsize it(even when its scaled) it doesnt look as clear ive tried all sorts of filters and such

If you want to get anywhere, stop making popouts and follow a normal tutorial

Also photoshop cs2 is free from adobe and it's a big step up from gimp

Yes I'm afraid most tutorials out there are for photoshop and pretty much everyone here uses photoshop, so we won't be of much help if you're using GIMP

thanks guys I'll be downloading the free photo shop and I'll attempt easier signatures for fora bit :-)
