I got a tablet about 4 years ago that was surprisingly decent quality but unfortunately I don't remember the name of it, which isn't important anyhow. I didn't give the tablet a try because I really didn't like the fact that I had to draw into the grey area on the tablet and watch the computer screen simultaneously. It's just way too unfamiliar to me and I didn't want to adjust my entire art approach by doing this.
Is there any tablets out there that are different in a sense that they allow you to directly see what you're sketching on the tablet itself? I'm looking to drop some cash on this if it's of decent quality, for example: no lag, no pixilation, etc.
I've heard of the Wacom Bamboo amongst a lot of artists on this site and I've heard nothing but good things about it but unfortunately it's too much like the one I had.
I would gladly put ~$650 dollars or so, maybe even more, towards a good quality tablet, as it saves the cost for materials and space.
Let me know, fellas, thanks!
