I kind of messed up on the bottom i think.
But im happy with the result. First painting in awhile

perhaps someone else could speak against my recommendation, but i would strongly suggest starting with anatomically correct figures before you attempt to stylize.

don't use black at all, use gray if you need something darker

true black is really harsh on the eyes and you should avoid it until you're a boss.

e: especially the black bits on the stem -- it would never be that dark
