the navigation is gigantic, taking up too much of the overall page space. the glow takes away from the quality of the appearance. Should be simple and concise. That's not to say you can't have effects in banner or buttons etc., just make sure that the effect you add doesn't take away from the appearance of the site as a whole, which the glow is currently doing.
The black on orange is also a bit unpleasant to look at. I would change the black to either a white or a dark orange/grey.

Find some websites that have achieved what you are trying to achieve and look at their design styles and choice of colors/tones. The grays and orange are fine for a color set but you need to work on how you use the orange to enhance.

Its easy to look at for me, but then again my monitor is old as hell and that could be the reason and the colors could be distorted. the webpage is bigger than that i'll post it up in a moment.

/e: , but we also have to remember that this is a unknown clan and there website is. http://www.overdosed.net

did they choose these colors?

You could always use more neutral colors, then have that orange as an accent? If it was me though I would stay away from that orange :S too halloween like

color wheels are good friends when you know how to use them ;)

the grey you have is nice, I would try using a slightly lighter grey though, almost half between white/black nawmean
