Is that the finish product?
It's really nice but seems like it was left undone. (not sure if that came out rude, wasn't trying to be.)

It's not done, she's still working on it. it's more of her class project.

i think it's some hatching and some blending stump on some places. i'll ask her tomorrow

/e Her words EXACTLY "It's called chiaroscuro shading, but in your case, finger smudging. But cross hatching looks wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy different than that"

depends on how fine hatching is, lol

I remember i used to finger smudge with pencil when i was at high school, thought I was arty, turns out i was just unskilled, good place to start tho :D
