Thinking of rebuilding a zerrit, if people would use it.

A couple of considerations learned from last time:
▪ Cloud based amazon s3 storage, means über fast speeds & no chance of losing files ever again (sorry about that).
▪ Much simpler interface than before, with a focus on making things fast and easy uncluttered and like sex.
▪ I might make a upload mac menu bar app, for dragging and dropping for fast uploads.

Last zerrit, hosted 60gb of images and used roughly 1TB of bandwidth a month, which is starting to be large numbers, so if the number of users gets as high as last time (around 300) I'm going to have to introduce some kind of way to pay for the file store it, such as a small yearly fee(there would be free accounts ofc.), to pay for hosting which would be around per month for the above use case.

yes, because offering a free service for designers to upload their images easily and without quality loss then losing my job, running in to money trouble in the negative's of thousands of dollars and having to move in with my girlfriends parents is being a selfish asshole. It's taken me over a year to recover from that now im in a good place. Also i'm trying to prevent the possibility of this happening again by using this by using cloud based storage with archival backups so no data is lost again.

considering more than three of us offered to pay in full for zerrit and you declined, yes, you're still an asshole and i don't support your decision to remake it.

bullshit, you declined every single offer. and sorry, once a scumbag always a scumbag. you're the sole reason for an entire span of time of work completely erased.
go through with zerrit, but don't be surprised if you don't have many people. i, obviously, won't be using it because quite simply, i don't trust you.

and fair enough, I don't expect you to trust me, after all this is the internet & I don't want many people I just want people that want to use it, I'm not trying to build some empire, just make something great and easy to use.

yet you give no way for us to fund it, then go mia for like two years. seems legit.

life was tough for a while, and all anyone had to do was send a pm and say where can i send monies.
but like I said, im not looking to the past, but rather I want to learn from these mistakes and make something better whilst I have some time.
