2 will be better off without a render, maybe a shape over-clipped with random shit might look better. i like the smudging and sharpness, definitely like the color tone. not sure if c4d's compliment it though.
don't like the smudging technique used in the 1st one, too washed out for my taste. but some sharpened parts look neat. once again dislike the render.
