I'll be using this thread to maybe get some CnC from the Graphic Design community as I post new work. Hopefully there will be some noticeable progress in the near future. ^_^

Just recently made 2 new tags, not really happy with either outcome, but I'm not sure how I can improve them.

Been looking into .PSD packs, and I'm not quite sure how to use them to their full potential. Any info on that would be great as well.

Have any tips on how to do that? My blending attempt was pretty bad on this one, not really sure what methods to be using, but I used a photo filter and I set the photo filter to Warming (85) at around 85% density, then this layer was a clipping mask for the render. My friend suggested soft brushing, but that just seemed to make things look odd to me, but I used a soft brush with a Soft Light layer option. Any other possible ways I could try blending her in?

Alright thanks! Just got a .PSD pack, so I'll be looking through them today. ^_^

Made a quick signature today, nothing too great. I'll be making another, but after viewing some .PSDs. I want to see what effects everyone uses. But yeah, CnC would be appreciated. :)

A little bland m8. Blending is good, though.

Work on your colors a bit, and try to branch out and try some different things.

It is a tad bland, huh? I'll be looking into some .PSDs later, so I might be able to get some exciting effects in there for my new tag.

Yeah, I guess I was intentionally going for a monotone color scheme for some reason. :P But I'll look into some color schemes later when I make my new tag.

Thanks for the feedback. :)

Yeah, just look at a color wheel and there are a bunch of ways to get a good mix of colors. Even if you want all the same shade, there's ways to throw in a lot of variations of that shade to make it look nice.

I couldn't really figure out some of the PSD stuff, like how to emulate some of the effects. Still working on that. :P

Here's a recent hard brush smudge attempt. It's my first smudge tag without using scatter settings.
The "SOTW 8" is just because there's a smudge SOTW contest on another forum and I'm trying to make something good for it lol.

Feedback appreciated. :)
