Why is everything posted in this forum always centered, have terrible lighting, and a complete disregard for flow?
Are all the current "artists" frequenting this forum beginners?
Are they all using junk free image editing apps/software?

Almost everything posted lacks basic knowledge of composition, flow, symmetry, depth.. and it's always centered. In some cases it even has conflicting lighting, and yet these "artists" are charging way to much. Back when this forum had actual professional Artists and Art students even the professional Artists didn't charge that much unless it was a business related commission.

FYI new artists don't center your subject in every image, spend some time and actually learn about composition, symmetry, flow ect. ect. Here is a basic guide to start..

Your frustration clearly comes from a place of love. A deep concern for the lack of quality and care you are seeing in this forum. Others may not see it that way, but it's true. Calling out the bs and being critical is what should be pushing artists, that truly care about improving their craft, to becoming even better.

I, for one, appreciate your criticism. Thank you for your guidance on the rule of thirds, as well as the link you provided in this post. I saved it and will definitely consider what works best as I continue creating and trying to improve.

Thank you.

I concur with this as well, it's not an unfounded statement he made. Now, I'll add onto it that people here are not generally true artists, just a hobby or something to earn some FG that they enjoy doing (Myself included, I can't draw a stick figure to save my life) but I enjoy trying to find different ways to bring an idea to life, even if someone else doesn't like it or there's flaws I've learned over the years and have (IMO) learned a bit about the art. I am still in no way a professional, as I just kind of throw things together that work well and try and do the best I can with blending/telling a story over the entire piece.

Obviously this isn't a place frequented by true artists, they take their craft into the real world for the most part. So I'm also not coming on here looking for great works of art. The people who are at the top know who they are and its always great to scroll through the forums and come across a signature and be able to go "That's one of X, Y, Z's" work because when you see it done right, its obvious. So props to those guys.

Now, long story short, have fun doing it and if you can make some coin, do it. If someone paid for what you did, obviously it met their criteria so just never stop learning and have fun!

Exactly, wasn't said with malicious intent. If nothing is said about it, nothing is learned from it. If it was me I would hope someone would call me out on my bs.

It is normal, I think, that it may bother you to see how some people try to profit at all costs. But come on, I think that happens not only in the GFX Chanel, I think it happens in life! in practically everything. And furthermore, anyone who tells you that they have never sold a signature for more than what they themselves know, is lying.

Solution? I would say that it doesn't have, it has always happened and will always happen.

Here we all know each other. When things like this happen "they usually ^^" are new people.

It could also be that you are just at that moment when you begin to learn about a GFX program and become very motivated. xd
