How does it work? I see people selling names all the time. I have two names I would be interested in selling

But idk how it works selling them to people. Does my character keep the name occupied until it is deleted from Nonladder once reset takes place or? Can somebody clarify?

The character keeps the name throughout the realm. Doesn't matter if it's ladder or non ladder, sc or hc.

And basically if I have a name I want to sale, I post the name and when I receive FG Message them make sure they are on, and delete the name in a timely manner?

Sign in with the character and meet up in a channel. Count down from 5, delete the character, and join the channel. I'd delete before accepting fg, but that's up to you.

I'm not sure if selling names is against d2jsp rules though.

Just delete the char and send an email to battlenet suppprt reuesting they “hold” the name for you. They will then keep it taken and release it to the new owner when you email them again and inform them the sale has gone through and the name of the new owners diablo 2 account he will put the name on

This is far and away the safest method, any other methods have a possibility of the name being stolen during transfer to the new owner
