Would like to see some fun hybrid runewords people have made or have collected.

I got some interesting ones and some generic ones myself. Curious what people have gotten creative with. Post your screenshots and spam away.

Post in another sub, runewords aren't trophies neither are any item created in the last few years via exploits. hybrids are no more a trophy in xpac than a5 glitched socket gear is in classic.

Except both methods have been patched out.

Your same argument applies to any import or zbug item then. Not trophies because they were created via an exploit

No it doesnt, zod bugging was a pretty close guarded glitch that never wen't entirely public. Once it did it was patched rather quickly.

Whereas hybrids, and other packet manipulation exploits, are more difficult to patch and have had public methods. In the few weeks that the hybrid method was public 100x more were made than zod bugs that ever existed, maybe more. zod bugs were also an exploit glitch that required no 3rd party program, whereas the public hybrid exploit was a 3rd party exploit.

Plus i don't consider zod bugs or old uniques trophies, although i like seeing them especially rare ones, and i also don't consider imports trophies. But as imports are impossible to discern from legit drops (wink wink unlike hybrids) they can't be specifically banned from TR.

So if imports and zbugs and rare hybrids aren't trophies, what is a trophy to you? I figured I'd make a post for ppl to post their oddball hybrids so there is a single thread ppl can see the unique items they have accumulated since the hybrid exploit was patched out.

I personally didn't think to have specific hybrids made until after the method was patched so when I see a cool one I'd think others might wanna see them.

runewords / unique items (these are typically not trophies)
duped items
hacked/bugged items
basic items (potions, gold, quest items, runes etc.)
items that are banned from trading on this site

Since the hybrid method was patched out, that makes any hybrid left a rare commodity (to me). So as I do appreciate your opinion, I respectfully disagree with your stance on hybrids. I'm from west where the exploit wasn't heavily used so some hybrids are significantly rarer than others especially in various bases. If a moderator wants to close this thread, so be it. But until such day, let's let the common folk post their oddball hybrids. Fair?

The issue is ALL hybrids were made with a 3rd party program, so they're all hacked items. So they not only break one rule but 2.

you can post all you want I'm not a mod that i can stop you, but this thread will be locked and closed once a mod sees it. That's all im saying, as well as expressing that i agree with the rules in this instance.

I agree with you that some uncommon combinations make for some cool items and i'd even like to see whats out there, but it won't happen in the Trophy room, it will get closed here.
