When you need fire resist you genenrally just go 102 using burst of speed and 10x 20/11 fire SCs.

Giving you 180 fire res, when you only need 175.

Resist on rings just lowers the amount of 20/11 you need.

With only having 5 rep, out of the maximum 9, by lod or d2r standards, this is just a temp.

It’s just a temp for a particular matchup that you almost never encounter

And in the matchup, the prefix rolls on small charms dont really matter. meaning, swapping out 20/11s for more 3/20/20 or 36/20 or 20/17 dont provide much value, therefore, going out of your way to buy a high fire resist ring at the cost of life rep as an example on your ring, is not a good way to optimize the build.
