What makes an item a trophy is high or near perfect rolls with the best affix combinations.

I guess there is an inherent difference in classification here.

If you want to think an item with near perfect stats with 3/4 affix rolls working well together and 1/4 affixes being a usable affix, but not best affix, makes a trophy item, then you are allowed to have that opinion.

I don’t hold the same standard as you, and that’s ok. I’m all for having a debate. However, I have tried to ask, why you guys think Fire Res > more Rep. the only thing I get is because you are a fucking idiot or these boots are awesome.

There has been no analytical discissuon into why you believe thee would be better. Only emotional retorts to try to bash someone into submission.

Please change my mind as to why these are better than:
30frw
10fhr
15 rep
20 life
40 mana boots

For ES sorc. And if you can make a logical argument as to why, then I’ll gladly recogonze that these should be in the trophy room. But I have yet to see any argument that accomplished that.

I’m am by no means the encyclopedia for sorc builds, however, I do have an above average base line. And I am always more than willing to learn from someone who knows better than
Me.

But if your arguments are based in emotion, than an analytical debate is never going to go anywhere.

I think you are referring to when I was talking about removing an affix and changing it for another.

I was trying to say: remove fire and replace with rep to give:
tel:30/10/20/1530/10/20/15[/URL]/40

Or replace mana with lite to give: tel:30/10/20/1030/10/20/10[/URL]/40/40

I’m not seeing how mathetmically the Fire Res is better than rep given how long SvS duels are typically.
