I dont think I'd use this over dfathom on a hld blizzer, dfathom gives way more ice blast damage (and slightly more blizz dmg) and even tho orb this gives more -res, vs most opponents they'd either have -100 res (no stack) or enough stack to have max res vs both setups (i.e. with or without the extra -15 res this orb gives) - hence the extra -15 res isn't that great imo.

However this is simply amazing for a mld blizz, cant imagine there are many better..10/10.

i think there are only 2 orbs on eu mld 2/3/3/2o/s/150?+mana neither of which have ts (1 had es though). 10/10, but still feel it needs more mana. facets better on blizz sorc's then any other elemental soso ofc, which is a pity since adding jewels to an orb would have been nice, if you could get away with it, which you cant, since it wrecks ur damage, but anyway (!)

you could get away with this on a vita blizz sorc, my es blizz only does 11k damage and still 1-2 shots most characters

After many test fathom was indeed better ... More dmg even though this orb has mote -res it won't beat fathom. still this the best rare vita blizz orb on east.

this has been sold a while ago... i don't know why people still argument on fathom or this orb which is better ? Its a trophy thread so rate it and move on lol

If mld isn't running on East I could understand why people compare it to dfathom. This is because it doesn't matter so much whether its the "best rare" it just matters if it is the best option, and for hld it is not.

For example, it would be very hard for a rare hld bow on East (no EP being played) to be considered be a trophy now as faith is superior even if the rare bow had 100% perfect mods.

Most of people consider trophy items on stats roll of first and second affixes and overall item ...not if this is better than a runeword or a unique item wtf ? Otherwise no ethrep fools would have been post since EDC beat them all except 2os eth rep 40ias 280+ Ed and this is only 1 exemple ... Your point doesn't make sens at all.

No the reason people rate the melee weapons highly is because they think they are better than EDC, indeed in a lot of these topics there are comparisons between common weapons (like EDC) and the rare weapon posted.

Put simply a 2/20 fcr/30 frw/55 life/20@/2 sox nec circ would get much higher rates than a 2/20 fcr/30 frw/55 life/20@/2 sox pala circ even tho both have essentially the same chance of rolling. This is because even a 2/20/60/2 is superior to a 2/20 fcr/30/55/20@/2 on a hdin (as 30 frw is essentially a wasted mod and 20@ isn't soo useful for hdin).

Couldn't agree on that depending on what kind of pally you playing hdin would love 30frw for synch. Pm me for futur answer instead of posting here or they'll close it.
