both are bad choices for mauler tbh

re: cutlass only hits 6fpa, vs naga hitting 5 fpa + naga has more range and base damage

peace is a waste of stash space and to get 500+ defense on one it would have to be in an ornate base and 170 strength is too much for this bear

crit simply isn't worth it without sojs, and sojs will never happen

cutlass would be used on switch of the normal setup to just proc amp, perhaps its more a hardcore thing were you have to account for people juving, and then good avg with high spike wins ears.
There are several armors that you can cube for peace and have have 500+ defense with decent str reqs. An ornate would have around 1K defense, I was talking about practically any of the exceptional's in your lvl range and str reqs.

again you have a fantastic bear.

However the peace setup with ~32% crit has a little less life and lcs damage, but it doubles your considerable damage from all your damage sources and isnt to be dissed so casually when its 1 in 3 hits on average. Its a nice option is all I'm saying w/ amp damage.
