I personally prefer the light res more because of the fact that im useing sop monarch (no lr).i got enough fire res from rings and if im in real trouble vs fire sorcs,i switch to the normal spirit+hots.usually im useing aldurs which also gimme enough fr anyway
but thats just my opinion
