Many duels don’t last 8 seconds. I understand your calculations depend on the duel lasting 8 seconds because that’s the duration of OW. But your calculations literally depend on the duel lasting an entire OW duration, after OW is triggered in order to do the full amount of damage. In reality, there is no duel in gm melee fury v zeal that’s lasting this long. And it’s not like you don’t get OW at all if you remove cerebus, you still get it from other items (gores). Actually, a lot of duels (I would wager most) are over before OW is triggered, even when one is wearing Cerebus.
I need to land 8.5 more hits with my pelt to do the same amount of damage as Cerebus? No, no I don’t. Or maybe it’s just my great rng that is killing zealots faster with my pelt than cerebus. Any fvz duel no matter what you’re wearing is over in 2-4 hits.
The fact that I’ve killed many zealots in 2-4 hits with my pelt and cerebus, and that no duel has ever taken me close to 8 hits to kill a zealot with the pelt, calls your math into question.
You would need 12,000ish max damage to kill a 4000~ life zealer in 2 hits.
And you would need to roll that 12,000 max damage twice along with deadly strike each time and land successful hits through block + hit rate chance to accomplish this.
Even in your set above, if you min damage was 1, which it was not, your max damage would be 10,170~ to have your 5083 average damage you claimed in post #41.
That would only be enough damage to kill a zealer in 2 hits with :
10,170 x .17 = 1728~
1728 x .5 for Dr penalty = 864
864 x Deadly strike happening = 1728
1728 x 2 where 2 = 2 hits = 3456
But again, you wouldn’t have 10,170 max damage as your minimum damage in post #41 wouldn’t be 1.
Like always, you lie to fit your narrative when the math always proves you wrong
