never talked about those shields you mentioned, you're mistaking me with someone else's comment, I'm not that random when it comes to 49ing

I think the dmg gain would be substantially bigger, and with the proper jewels that shield can easily top the 20 stats from sanc.

but indeed you lose ~250 def on the shield. Perhaps a matter of preference.

The main reason I did so well against the #1 Zealot on West was because of my def, I'm trying to hit 20k def while concing, so losing def will hinder my goal.

I have 11x ar/life scs I'm going to be replacing with max/ar/life scs... which will put me to 4k. The ed/stat jewels would put me around 4.2k

DSOD ed/dex/str socketed adds 400 dmg on my conc though (90 ED/ 27 dex/ 24 str), but def is your main goal, and 4 k dmg should cut it as well imo.

Well I like his sword. i never saw one of those at that lvl before. i still want a sword like Tibers though...(brimstone impaler)

i also think a eth hyperion sanc might come in handy for special duels, i mean, they are easy enough to get
