well to be honest I don't like it, I just tried it. It was the best choice back in 1.08 or so, but nowdays its damage is really low.
The reason why it's still an ok weapon is in melee duels because of the very high attack speed. with a lo there is some critic too and the avarage damage is not that good but ok.
Compared to a grief or even a nice rare weapon, it's bad. Didn't compare it to an ebotd tho.
