also why would some1 pay for a 40ias when 30ias enough since it needs 15%ias anyway. Thats exaclty why it has 30ias.
idk why bvbers dont buy more cs's instead of cb/bb though, as its clearly the best rangeadder +2 sword and its the same gfx
they buy balrogs and cb's because with 40 ias and 2 soc, you can fill both sockets with runes instead of being forced into one of the two sockets being an ias jewel. so while you end up with less avg weapon damage, you gain 1-2 sockets worth of Lo's, Ber's, Um's, or Eth's in whatever combination you wish to use, which then puts it right on over the top of any spawnable colossus sword.
