Mechanics are really only better for non melee pvp in d2 LoD. For melee D2R is way better in every sense. But subs is right it’s quite dead, there’s more interest in either trading, pvming or leveling, or dueling same class vs same class and splitting the community into class specific sects like zeal only fury only etc. it’s a combination of that and the fact that old LoD guys have already said they absolutely won’t duel without imports and 37x 3/20/20s etc so… It’s no good. About D2Lod melee players,
Guys dont want to duel probably with EDC, BOTD, SHAFT and Rares like ZOD weapons again like they already did 15 years ago. And they dont want to play such items for 2-5x more price to get them to play them.. They got Totaly Perfect items rares characters now they are dueling for years.
So why would they do again such low mediocre chars duels i understand them.
Who dont understand them is a kind of person who lost on d2lod, never get any good rare melee so allways wanted such,
and now in D2r hes doing the same duels with edc shaft forti and keep jealous on d2lod guys..because he dont know anything other and never get better.. i dont see any other reason and users who cry this things. Its simple.
And the part about imports is also understandable,
when they got armor like this one in the topic Bosu,
in D2R when he would want to duel with it he must pay not 100-200k but 1000.000+ what is totally bullsht you see
To make the same duel..in "new pixeling"
And armor dosent even exist there.. so why he would make same duels without his armor but with very lower one rare or some unique or so...
Everyone must understand that melee is same duels and Bosu do that for 12+year such duels why he woul want go back to 2008 or 2010... hes not hyped with d2r
And i understand you and many players that play D2r duels,
its refreshed game and gfx "new pixeling" is nice also new things added.. you were bored of D2lod perfect characters if you had one? So you just want to go back and start hunting the perfect items again from beginning
what you guys will probably do, getting items like D2lod, pay for them 5x more and make probably same melee ofc with something "new" added but still...
Just its diablo2..game that we played for 23years now.
Not everyone feels fun to make this again what was made before.
But its very Ok and welcomed everyone in both D2r play and D2 play. Game is game and is fun.
For somebody its just hoarding trading d2jsp "game" again as before. And than its all about D2jsp forums and not the game itself, its about the forums existence.
Im retired in diablo gaming to be honest,
i was teenager at 2000s diablo play, so now im not teenager in D2r anymore..its for guys who are 12yo now ofc
And also im really off from Hoarding items, Trading, d2jsp market searching..losing time with this has not any value for me. Its done from 2010-2022 and im freee of that now
the last tournament im doing is Immortal Kings barb set duels hahaa wich is pure fun only.
Still diablo is one of best game series, sanctuary is one of best fantasy worlds as i read book novels from Knaak and as i played every single game from diablo since 97, i will do also full story and quests of DIV and will get box game for my diablo collection :))
