there's probably many factors into why everything is allowed to go on.
to be honest, the game wouldn't be much fun otherwise...
with no map reveals,
no mob mapping
no path skipping,
no duped runes,
VERY few and VERY expensive runewords
and no bots, none at all?
no bots to farm your runes, shells, or anything else.
not even shop botting.
making something like infinity would be a nightmare
people would actually have to go out and kill mobs themselves,
and find their path through dark passages,
wearing half assed gear
no one wants to do that anymore
to patch the problems for the purity of the game,
would cause a massive drop in the player base
what fun is it without awesome items and high end runewords?
that IS what the game is now,
its 15 years old, hacks and exploits are acceptable as the norm
people are only mad about the exploits that they cannot benefit from themselves
but you're either black or white..
either you use ANY hack or exploit, or you don't any at all.
the grey areas in between are just filled with jealousy
