Nice Charger Wep - Topic

There's definitely pros & cons for both scenarios. You can get nice charge chains just fine with War Pike. You can also avoid smite/ww range & shit like hammers, etc, in lots of situations too with that huge range of 4.
Comes down to preference, and I like War Pikes personally.

I have a perf Edeath GA on him. It actually happens to be the exact str req as the fools pike (if you haven't noticed this fools pike has -20req & 122 str req), so I have perf amount of versatility in 2hand weps on this charger just with those 2 weps. Also has various other setups (dr / sorb+high res / shield+godz with base smite / shield+edeath zerk / etc...) so I can do just fine vs barbs and other pallys. But this fools pike has smashed so many pallys whether it's hdin/smite/other chargers & bvc's. Only thing that should be an almost impossible opponent for chargers is a bvb.

I used to have a charger back in the day that would smash bvb's, used a fools war pike similar to yours and would just charge to the way side of the ww then dash in and out, if it hit it was a kill, if it missed i would take damage but live and try again, generally would win 3/5.
