Oh geez, another naive post...
Don't try to tell me about old school... I've played since day 2
(and not day 1, because gay-ass ebworld didn't deliver my game on release day, and I'm still sore over that)
I was selling tons of soj on *** before most players had even heard of them
I was passing out items for free before I ever sold anything on jsp,
(which was immediately after I joined, but almost solely to the hc community)
But because I don't act flashy and big time, then I'm just a johnny-come-lately, right?
But you think I'm worried about messing with peoples "livelihoods"?
Is that a joke?
You think I give a rat's ass about the livelihoods of .coms that charge $900 for a simple blood armet?
People whose livelihoods depend on d2 item sales, need to get a real job
I can't believe someone could even try to make that case.
Here's where the bad feelings all originate: the haves, and the have-nots
The haves - elitist, aloof assholes, who spend thousands of dollars from .com's,
or others who have an inside advantage due to cheap duping tricks or running 10,000 bots,
To gain a competitive advantage,
or to gain bragging rights over their "hard-earned items",
those whose self esteem is measured by having pixels that others don't
-those- are the people that don't like me
because I've given others a chance to also own incredible items
without having to cough up a grand for a single helm,
so suddenly their eliteness is easily watered down
also true with many of these so called 'top sellers' on jsp,
who like to think they are pimp, and can control the market,
thinking that they have a monopoly on high end items.
Well, they don't.
-THOSE- are the kind of people that get butthurt by me
People kept telling me how dumb I am for not selling rings and helms and such for 20k
in case it wasn't obvious, I don't care
I find GREAT satisfaction, in selling items to people,
who otherwise might never acquire their rare items,
people who have dreamed of particular items for years...
and now can actually equip those items, without having to empty their bank accounts
If I can help someone like that, that's awesome
those are the people who can afford and buy your items.
