idk how the fuck it poofed but its gone so I mean kd might have some great items but he cant import hes a puppet like sancorro said...

noone is a puppet. They just own good bots to imbue at charsi/and roll. Everyone can do it. There is no thing such as import

I don't know if the bow has poofed on anyone or not. My pm inbox has been flooded by people asking if the bows were perm or not, but I'm unable to answer that question. Once the bow leaves my hands, I have no control over whether or not the new owner gets the bow duped. With that said, having the bows poof would actually be an ideal outcome for me.

I'm not a huge fan of having the realms polluted with super godly items, which is why I've never traded or sold my items. Ideally, moderately good rares and all build dependent items are fairly cheap and accessible, and nearly perfect rares remain extremely rare. This way, dedicated players have a long term goal to work towards but casual and dedicated players alike can easily make the characters they want and compete on a fairly level playing field.

A few years ago I actually had a plan to 'fix' some of the problems I saw with the game. I was planning to balance pvp around a new group of items that legit players could never get their hands on, and then handing out the items for free to everyone. I also had some cool items that enabled new builds, like a ring with +whirlwind. I figured the dedicated legit crowd would form their own self policing legit pvp leagues that would shun the use of shopped items, and all other pvpers would embrace the new metagame. This turned out to be a huge undertaking though, and I was afraid I would lose interest (particularly with d3 on the horizon) and end up leaving the game in a more imbalanced state. I was also worried that if I wasn't around to keep providing items, some duper would show up and just charge people a lot of money for unperm copies of items that were intended to be free.

I was actually intending to remake one of the items and post it in this forum, but the servers appear to have changed a bit and most of my attempts ended up crashing the server. I hate lagging or crashing servers, and I also currently lack the interest/patience required to solve the problem, so I guess I'll leave that for another day.
