That’s a wrong statement. AR does matter for elites and champion monsters. Depending on the build, +min dmg may actually give more damage bonus when compared with 20str (when you already have 2000 ~ 3000+%ed, 20str is really nothing). This is a not bad ring with 4.5 ~ 5.5 points (depending on whether it’s a mana intense build). But the guy does have a point, str / dex is usually more preferable for physical classes in pvm.

It matters for unique and bosses. Of which you have plenty of AR for along with Eth’s -25% defense.

When you have ignores target defense, AR is extremely overrated.

While AR is good, you have plenty of it simply from 1x raven frost + your gear + youe dex + your AR% modifiers.


Not to mention the point system is completely irrelevant


20 Str = 20% ED for a lot of weapon types.

Given grief has an average damage of over 400 damage, 20% ED = roughly 90 average damage.

9 min damage is 4.5 average damage

For 4.5 to equal 90 damage, you need to multiply 4.5 by 20 times to reach 90 average damage.

Which means you need 1900% ED modifiers from gear + skills + Str + Dex to get 9min to equal 20 Str.

The only character type that can even come close to that is a charger. And charger is terrible for pvm.

You said to yourself, it does matter for elites and champion monsters, which you will be dealing in the majority of time for pvm. Nobody cares about regular monsters anyway, they die instantly.
Speaking of ITD, there are also builds don't have ITD comes with their weapons. WF zon, java zon, fury druid, ww barb's offhand. You can't just assume everyone is zealot / faith bowzon. You even listed AR in the best crafted rings you posted. There isn't really much you can expect from the Prefixes. Most better stats come from Suffixes stats.




Again, you already know the math and just being arrogant or don't want to admit it. With demon / undead bonus, fort, might, phoenix, str / dex, skill bonus, there are plenty of builds which can achieve 2000+%ed. It would actually be a concern if you try to max out damage and couldn't reach these goals. Even if your gear / build doesn't allow you to reach 1900%, let's say 1500%ed, the +9 min is still better than 16+ str here (which is a high roll in rare rings). As an old timer, I am sure you already know a lot of these basics.
Is this a godly / extremely good ring? Definitely not. But it's a decent ring (at least worth more than some decent gears in the market nowadays). Calling something decent as Charsi is just being arrogant and trying to show superiority.
