Knockback % chance depends on target size. Large targets = 25%, medium targets = 50%, small targets = 100%. Shadow Master and Shadow Warrior are small, Grizzly is large and players, mercenaries and all other pets are medium.

Certain targets cannot be knocked back in duels.
Blood Golem
Carrion Vine
Clay Golem
Fire Golem
Heart of Wolverine
Iron Golem
Oak Sage
Poison Creeper

Then tell me why you can shoot FASTER regardless of FPA, if your D2 speeds up/ you have a better connection.

The same thing applies to physics, being Diablo 2 animations and input feedback is directly related to clientside input. Therefore many physics of the game can be completely different for 2 people.
