base barb str = 30
+40 anni torch = 70
+15 bb = 85
now, to wear storm with -req you need 133 str, normal arreat = 118 str req, which means you would benefit from 15 str only (and if you use upg arre you won't benefit from any str)
with a circ which has a good base str, you can benefit from all (in that case, you benefit from 20 str from circ + 9 for circ, that is +29 str, where the arre brings you 15 only, and +14 stats = +140 life)
and you also add a huge ar bonus thanks to the circ
as said, the def loss (comparing this circ to normal arre) is 2k, which is less than the ar gain the circ provides.
so now : more are, more life, nearly same dmg, and a minor def loss (compared to ar gain)
circ beats arre, that's it
and it's even worse if you compare with up arre, since the life gain is even bigger (since the str from up arre isn't needed at all).
bvb is not all about def, it is about getting a good balance.
I hope you guys will carve that into your brain once and for all

Clueless, there is no huge ar bonus, i dont know what game you play in which this beats arreats.
30 ed 9/9/ -15 jewel the arreats and stormshield, problem solved, no need shitty circlet.
And if you use sacred, like a lot of good bvbs?

That is the best conc helm i have ever seen, and yes in some cases it would beat arreats.

fyi mister clueless, i've got 2 different barbs, and the one which is posted in trophy room is NOT a ffa barb, but can't expect you to have used the few braincells you've got left and noticed it.

@bck : i like the def and 2 socks from your helm, but still the lack of the +2 barb totally ruins it . (at least for europe, since we don't play conc barbs)
