If you run bear vs nec then I'd go circ setup given the above mentioned points on lod as well.
rare pelts can get 10fhr which equates to 40 life combine with additional 40 life that can spawn on rare pelts that's more than the 60 that can spawn on magic pelts. The 2 druid skills also will give you more life from oak and beef up your summons a bit (moreso in d2r from synergies). Depends if you value life or dmg. I would use the life thresholds above to determine if it's worth or not to go with the dmg setup.
BIS circ for dvn would be 2/20/30/60life/90mana/2os. If you get 10fhr on a circ you'd have to give up frw, fcr or life which wouldn't be worth it.
