In d2 at least scarab/dusk/wire fleece weren’t shoppable, the only elite light base that was shoppable is an archon plate (making them the most common and least desirable light elite base for jewellers of the whale). Has that changed in d2r?

It is such a bad argument.
Not everyone care about being a cheap power creep.
I already played min/maxed Javazon which oneshotted everything, it was broken and boring AF, i'm not interested in it.

Second, i earned so much through trade, that i don't give a single f about MF & loot. And even while playing runner Bowa with 50% MF, i get some amazing loot from time to time, last week i dropped MP 15/15 & perf eth titans in half an hour of playing.
You might be surprised, but not everyone play to max out the loot, some people play to chill while farming, play with friends, slowly upgrade their pvm build to perfection (i know quite a lot of ppl like that, including me).

Third, Bowazon *IS EFFICIENT* in pvm. Before terror zones, i cleared p8 Chaos Wastes solo in 2,5 minute.
It clears all p8 TZ areas fast, not as fast as Javazon, but fast enough.

And last but not least, cold sorc in second ladder is such a dumb, OP build, that not only i'm not touching it, i also decided to not play second ladder.
I would rather uninstall the game than play cold sorc.

PS. this build is worth 60k, not 30k.
And 30k is really not much.
