Grief has always been considered bm in GM melee duels


This is due to it being completely overpowered, more competitive to use rares/non runewords

And is WW considered melee?

typically yes, there's a few that use frenzy but most use WW or a combination of both.
The ignore target def doesn't work in pvp but ever since the ladder only r/ws came out grief has been considered a bm item in legit gm duels (mostly relegated to jsp, but that's how it's been for a very long time)
E: ww is considered melee, since attack rating comes into play.
Smite is not considered melee, since it will always hit

its not banned anywhere else is reason i ask so that seems odd.

Idk what you eu people do, but all the people that played back in .08/.09 days considered grief as bm.
this was due to people just getting a Lo and a mal and getting an op weapon
Oldschool rule, so dueling circles don't care but banning grief makes it more of a challenge to find a good wep

Obv some people do not understand WHY something is banned in legit GM dueling

no to bm in gm bvb (whirlwind)
