Nr1 zaka shield and ofc gg stat easy enigma setup
But the stat ( Attacker takes damage of 2 if very useful for the smite dmg to bad)
Still gz nice shield

I guess the str req could pose an issue on a non eni build, but rare shields have always only been viable for vts, and if ur playing a vt without eni u should rebuild that shit asap xd

Afaik theres only 1 rare shield on eu that can compete with this, so i dont get the hate at all tbh.

It matters cos dex can be converted into more useful stats such as str (ed) we theorycrafted a lot with these things and that block could just save you 9 dex on a jewel so yeah, it matters some but not too much

Crushing blow causes you to hit for max damage, vortex shield has the highest max damage followed by kurast shield i believe.

That’s not what crushing blow does

Crushing Blow is a special magic property in Diablo II and Diablo IV that allows delivering a devastating blow for massive damage equal to a percentage of the enemy Life.

The best smite shield overall is sr/st depending on wether that little extra block from the st could just save you 9 dex from a jewel, if so then st is better, if not, sr is best

Also, it causes you to hit for max damage.

Yeah i got to the bottom of it through testing JSTOC vs JKSOC, some older players told me about it. It makes sense that it's coded that way though further testing is needed my results were clearly showing higher damage from KS only on the crushing blows. I didn't test vortex shield that should show a much larger difference although the block on it is too low for most duels.

Need to test it a bit aswell then, I got a jstoc and jksod with exactly the same % ed
