Most normal people would.
+life is only needed until you can survive burst damage. After that, rep matters to keep you alive indefinitely.
East hld fpk has had 10 hour ft5s. They can vouch for the usefulness of rep. I've had dozens of wagers and hundreds of duels that I've won based solely on having more rep than my opponent.
You may notice that this is a sorc ammy. Other than vs bowa/sorc, sorc gets to choose whether she takes damage or not. It's the single best char to have rep on.
