Cool story bro. It still gets outclassed by the 15 fg 40/15 dungos I can buy from any rand. Also aow rules are retarded, even more so than regular bvb
league rules aka electronic sports rules aka championship rules
AoW rules was designed by the community, the official leagues used them too, desingned to build a char with the most options and they are all balanced ( fairness was the shit)
shut down for almost 10years ago
to make things more clear about aow
thx to the holy imp clan

the main rules are:
- max. 10% ow(ok, thats a playstyle rule ofc. nothing beats ow and if we would had allowed unlimited ow, there wouldnt be any fun, just lame hit and wait fights)
- no grief / forti allowed(so why is that. if both were an option, we wouldnt use anything else. its a fact both are plain bvb winners. nothing beats grief and nothing beats forti because of the huge defence and 300%ed. ok, another point was after the first ladder season a grief ba was pretty expensive after a reset. and if you want to create a big community, you have to create attractive entry rules.)
- max. 45% damage reduction(we could have said, 35% is the cap, but you would be forced to use rare belts only and it wouldnt be fun especially for entry players. so dungo is a cool thing in certain setups as we can see in here. also the replenishment cap is related to verdungos)
creating rules is one of the most important things in a pvp area. capping ow and replenishment, prevents lame play style. we wanted fun and agressive matches.
capping the damage reduction at 45% is the best break even point for every possible rare/unique/magic/crafted item setup. you can wear runewords, rare armors, unique armors, magicals. you can wear verdungos, ow belt or rare belts. you can wear runewords or rare weapons.
this is something youll notice especially in pubs. everyone looks like the other, beside an armor type change of theyre fortis.
and thats why its fun and even after a couple of years so many ppl follow those rules, because they are absolutly unbeaten in flexibility.
believe me we thought so many nights about a rules change or some different setups, how can it be more attractive or more flexible.
