honestly there is nothing wrong with that jewel choice. the min dmg just cancles out the 30 ed towards the min dmg. and the +9 to min dmg adds more dmg to the min then the 30 ed does adn the 30ed is still applied to the max.

yes this is right. thats why 40%/10min jewels >>>>>>>>>>>> 40%ed/15 max jewels (in armor/helms/shields , not weapons)

but the question is:
even if the min dmg is higher than min-dmg from ED - isnt it a wasted mod since you would gain min dmg anyway (even if not so much), so you could use something else like AR/Def/Life for example?

how big is the min dmg difference really?
if its a HUUUGE difference, then i'd say: Ok, nice one!
but how big is it?
