I don't think you guys understand.  Based on the pics I can understand how it works.  Both items would need to be LLD.  You would only get rune bonuses from 1 of the items, and the runeword bonus from the other.

Spirit + Honor would either be:

+2 To All Skills
+25-35% Faster Cast Rate (varies)
+55% Faster Hit Recovery
+250 Defense Vs. Missile
+22 To Vitality
+89-112 To Mana (varies)
+3-8 Magic Absorb (varies)
7% Life Stolen
+50 To Attack Rating, +1 Light Radius
+9 To Maximum Damage
+2 To Mana After Each Kill
+9 To Minimum Damage

Or it would be

+160% Enhanced Damage
25% Deadly Strike
+200 To Attack Rating
+1 to All Skills
7% Life Stolen Per Hit
Replenish Life +10
+10 To Strength
Adds 1-50 Lightning Damage
Adds 3-14 Cold Damage 3 Second Duration (Normal)
+75 Poison Damage Over 5 Seconds

You'd have to let the game hit a check-save by completing a quest or something so the stats would be saved, but then the runes would be saved inside, as well.


In 1.09 you were able to "sell" the runes inside of the runeword to a vendor to create an open socket version of whatever it is, they were given the default runeword name "ith".


I don't see how it's possible now, though. Maybe there's a new rollback that's becoming publicly released, I don't doubt it, but something like this?
