lemme save u the time, both 1 os eth zod'd cruel fools, 40ias and 30 ias bases. both ele dmg, one with a decent chunk of cold, the other fire.

I'd like to hear your thoughts on how a Zod'd hydra edge is comparable to a Lo'd legendary mallet.

the mallet will have higher +20 deadly strike while i had to waste a socket with a zod because both dont have repair mod

the min damage on the mallet is higher but the max damage is comparable

using fools does give higher ar then grief, there are very few rare weapons that actually are useful and beat grief making it sort of a novelty item.

the mallet is much rarer because of the repair mod while eth fools are only semi rare, + 30-40 ias fools + cold damage + repair dual socket mod (on correct base) is extremely rare.

- other then the loss of +20% deadly strike the damage is comparable but not in terms of min damage. my setup already has high deadly strike / critical strike. more is always better. lets be clear the wep and why its so expensive is not just due to high min max damage + fools but mainly the deadly strike and more is always better.

they are extremely expensive but have limited use outside of bvb or zvz tournaments making a griefz 40/400/25 my ideal kill all melee wep not just because of the low investment of rerolling but higher accessibility in actually getting a useful item that kills players.

This is a gm melee weapon. Bringing up Grief is irrelevant, it's banned in every league in every country and has been since it was released as a runeword in LOD.

This beats EDC and it beats any other 1os fools erep weapon currently available because of the base, IAS, ED roll, and repair mod. The only thing it wouldn't beat is a 2os erep with comparable stats in a comparable base.

i did not care about the rhetorical aspects of the question i dismissed it with an eye roll, but i did give my thoughts on the matter.

no you cant use grief in tournaments im well aware of that issue that is why i touched on its limited use case and cost.

You can't use grief anywhere in gm melee, whether in tournaments, mini events, ladders, or even just sparring in public melee duel rooms. Bringing it up multiple times in this thread is irrelevant.

im aware of that but your forgetting im not a gm dueler by any means.

I respect that, but you shouldn't be rating a gm melee-only weapon by non-gm melee standards just because you don't gm melee
