1. D2R should have been an expansion, not an inferior (it is inferior mechanically) "remaster" of D2LOD. Blizzard should not have changed FHR (to the extent that they did), but I accept they wanted WSG gone. Jewel ed/max bug is still here though...
2. We should have gotten, or we should get, an expanded Act4 and potentially an Act 6 and Act 7 in D2R. I dont expect to get this.
3. We did get new runewords, which is a great addition, It would be nice if more runewords were released, and new uniques. there was rumor of around 30 new runewords, but we will wait and see how that pans out ( no sign of new uniques ).
4. We got a new population of players, which is the sole reason some of us (me included) returned to the game (D2LOD had a long time to die off, D2r will die faster).
5. D4, and its quality, will probably have a large impact on how long a life D2R will have.
6. Ultimately D2r is a remaster and therefore its population base will ever reduce. similar to D3 it may be that players play it for a week or 2 each "season". It is up to the PvP communities therefore to be strong enough to entice new players to their communities, and for said players to persist/remain.
Topic's such as this one are made with that in mind i.e. to encourage interest in particular PvP brackets.
Finally, remember this is not my topic, any user is free to post their LLD / MLD items here. There are various discords and youtube channels that provide similar content.
