They put in checks to detect any cross realm activity, the game would automatically crash the account would be banned the cd key involved would also be banned.
Open to closed is no longer possible, there is another exploit i wont get into used by certain sites.
As to why killers dreams has so many good items, he is richer then most.
Just for the record, snuff, perz ect have collections almost as good as kd but no one accuses them of importation.

Look at Snuff's donor rank, Perz is just an item-whore. Killersdream came out of nowhere and almost entire anonymity with some of the godliest items possible.

Killersdream: How come a random multi whore has one of your axes? Don't tell me otherwise, cause you showed me this axe in game among four other ba's, all 40/280+/fools/eth/rep. All on east ladder.

Snuff has been collecting for years, perz can't be compared to killersdream. One of killersdreams axes > entire perz collection.

Killersdream has 90% of his collection on east ladder. Why is this?

That is ultimately how dax got his axe. I dropped it in a random game and the person who picked it up sold it. Same thing happened with lizar50, except lizar50 got banned during that huge 11.11 banwave and raged.

It's probably closer to 20%, and it would be much lower if so many accounts didn't expire on east/euro/west nonladder.
