Druids hurricane does 2300ish damage on an Interval. Which means even at 0 resist, hurricane only does 391 damage on an interval.

With Trang gloves, spirit, torch, anni, anya, and 50 all res from charms, you are already at 185 resist.

You only need 175 resist.

If you use the cold resist from the ring it allows you to run Life/Mana scs for the extra mana.

It's definitely not a dead stat and adds to the ring's value.

Then in this scenario you won’t have max Fire Res or max lightning res, all so you can have max cold res to lower the damage of a low damage skill that only deals damage on a per second interval which is much slower than the cast speed of fire blast.

It’s vastly more important to worry about lightning + fire resist than it is lightning + cold resist. Not to mention I’ve already shown how easy it is to get 175 cold resist. And you still have 3 gear slots that can give cold resist that I didn’t even mention, hoto for druid, amulet for druid and nec, circlet for druid and nec. Thats an additional 40 all resist for nec and 80 all resist for druid.

This now puts you at 225 or 265 all resist using 10x 20/5s. Gasp. 225-50=175. Gasp you have 175 cold resist using 20/17s and no cold resist from ring.

You Dont need cold resist on ring for fpk.

The best resist combo is lite + fire.

yea keep making scenarios in your head, delusional xD. I'm not saying that you should sacrifice other resists just to have max cold resist. All im saying is that the cold resist from the ring isn't a dead stats and allows you to be more flexible in your other gear/inventory.

You're also comparing Hurricane (a skill that is likely to hit you often in fpk to Fireblast which would only be used if the sin is left alone 1v1 against a necro) xD
