Light sorc's are the worst type in LLD. its Fire > Cold > Light. When players decide to make a light sorc there is an abundance of light sorc gear available (as the build is unpopular) making the entry level items better then comparable Fire or Cold gear (Amulet:Circlet). Ultimately there is no reason, even when play Vita, not to have mana from circlet, and of course, if playing ES you look for 70-90 Mana. Yes you can use OP circlet and Pruby it, but its a temp every way I see it. Yes you might still get coins for it but I would rather not make a light sorc then use this. Sorc circlets at LLD do not need 2 sox to be trophies (but it helps). here is an example of a Light Sorc Trophy in D2LOD (it has not been socketed yet):
