the level 13 pike is great for its level bro, even for level 18 bracket its badass
and I did the math... the 13 pike does more damage than the cleglaws sword + jewel setup everyone seems to think is better but its not
and the level 73 pike, it is badass for mercenary and is better than ebotd by far
Even though it has slightly less damage than ebotd, it makes up for it with attack rating and amplify damage
perfect ebotd pike has only 50% more enhanced damage which is like 113 more max damage.... or roughly 10% more total damage
but when your item already does over 1k max damage the amplify proc actually is worth alot more than the 10% more damage ebotd provides
my pike has 5% chance of EVERY CONSECUTIVE HIT doing 100% more damage
on longer fights (like baal for example) the amplify is guaranteed to proc and thats where the item really shines :)
Also it breaks physical immunes
show me a better pike with amp? lol
All my pike needs is Ohm rune and on my paladin with might aura and concentrate aura with proc it should do roughly 20k damage
Ebotd war pike is by far better than this pike. More damage, life leech, and most important -speed.
5% amp can take much time to procs. I tested with my fury setup Atma scarab with 4 frame attack and I kill faster than amp procs. And waiting till amp procs on Merc- stupid idea.
