Light sentry allows for longer range stun locking and fhr animation activation, which lets you catch people easier. 3+ Mindblast, is ~30 damage more per spam (5 damage per after pvp penalty; and 2.5 after 50% DR is applied).
PS. Light sentry has longer range than death sentry. Death sentry is glitched and has a shorter range. I've tried it, but if anyone cares enough, they can test it themselves to see what I mean:
1) Lay a light sentry, find its maximum hit range.
2) Lay a death sentry in the same spot, you will find that it will not hit at the same range, but requires the opponent to be closer to you.
I think DF and LS are both rather useless on claw. DF is disgustingly slow, and unless you get +LS on every claw you intend to use, you should really hard skill it. It's definitely worth it for stun application and it's not like Ghosts are stressed for points anyway.
+MB will also increase stun acceptance duration (the duration of the swirly animation and its properties). If the +10 IAS grants you better trap laying speed then the comparison of those two claws are even worse.
LS and DS range are based on slvl btw.
