It's useful if you want to go against pure smiters/ Hdins and need to use Fort.
Also, it's impossible to keep down a NL on a Ghost when the player fucks you up when you tele on them, a sin is more of a Hit and run char or hit and side-ww char, it's hard to explain. But DF is great for off-screen deeper teles you can't get with namelocks/ normal click/ You get more range with DF, and you can tele on annoying 200 FCR sorcs much easier.
I don't use DF, I know some great players who do/ swear by it.

played spider / hybrid sin for years and its one of the most useful sin skills in some duels.
for example vs defensive casters you just have to df on them (this can be done out of screen to get free ow on them) and ww - move - tele out.
just repeat this some times and its an easy 5-0 win.
often the other player teles away by his own, so its a 100% free hit
