I would rather just use death than go for a wep like that. Such a similar comparison with an extreme price difference.

Yea bro everyone has their own opinion & I respect everyones ofc. I personally prefer using a rare cruel+fools than a rare cruel+grandmasters simply because the death runeword exists. I'm definitely not gunna spend 30k+ on a wep that is so close to what a 1k wep will do.
I have a perf Edeath GA on him. It actually happens to be the exact str req as the fools pike (if you haven't noticed this fools pike has -20req & 122 str req), so I have perf amount of versatility in 2hand weps on this charger just with those 2 weps. Saves me so much strength too which gives me a sick life boost.
Also has various other setups (dr / sorb+high res / shield+godz with base smite / shield+edeath zerk / etc...) so I can do just fine vs barbs and other pallys. But this fools pike has smashed so many pallys whether it's hdin/smite/other chargers & bvc's. Only thing that should be an almost impossible opponent for chargers is a bvb.

I exactly meant that edeath ga is a cheaper and better option than that fools ^^ would be surpassed only by that wp in its cruel version simply coz itd have like 1.5 times ga's average dmg and more range.

As for the "charger vs all" thing, i honestly don't think that the godliest charger could beat a mfdin with max dr and block... Same for smiters. Its not just a matter of defense and ar, youll be spanked after the first charge which (assuming you hit) won't surely be a 1hko.
Same for bvc: ww animation > charge so unless you get them while they're spacing out in the moor theyll come out unscathed.

Thats why id never bother looking for high ar or shield builds and just aim for res/life/dmg
