let me take a look at your criticism and i'll poke holes in them and edit.

hailstone spike is not a barb weapon - simply rubbish, sorry waiting to find a book end for death scythe, hailstone spike doesn't hit the ias bp but im built around the -req and honor simply isnt in the question.
death scythe can't compete with eth/rep nagas find me two non imported, eth rep nagas, on my realm, reasonably priced, that beat that exe, needs +1 barb on at least one of them, I dare you.
helm is weak compared to a bo/ww 3sock one - even without life not even true, time and time again helms of this type have been topic of debate. show me some math to validate your reasoning and ill entertain it
the amulet is nice, although it really lacks mana since the extra base damage helps more than the life you gain had one with mana, they patched ww mana, my mana pool is just fine since they patched it, find me an ammy with better all around mods and raw life
rings lack replrings can only have so many affixes, which one on my rings would you like to drop in order to pick up some miniscule rep which isnt even relavent on a barb
the frame of fbr you gain by shael isn't worth the dmg lost and i don't see why you would want resists on a shield when you'd use 2 weapons vs castersdo you know what bva is? shield is a one shoe fits all shield, tvt, melee, bvb. you name it, i beat it

overall a weak char imo even though it seems that you've made an effort putting it together refer to my above answers

i'll assume 1200 base life, 160 base dmg
i'll assume i win 20ed 5str 9dex from the additional socket of 3/3 helm (same as your lower jewel in the helm)

your helm:
1bo adds roughly 20life before bo
13ed
1 inc speed
+ 63life

3ww 3bo 3sock:
56life (jewel)
64ed 2%cs (assuming you even out %res by putting 2pts in NR)

that will end up in 97.8%life for 3s helm and (assuming 178ed with your equip & build) 87.25%dmg for your helm with 1% additional inc speed.

regarding mana: you mentioned tvt.. that's exactly where you'll want 400+ since you're not just whirling when you hope to hit but also to block opponents from rushing your team members. and there's also 2-4 times as many opponents to hit and potentially kill so you can't expect to be able to do that with the same amount of mana as in 1v1.

Not much of a barb there, I too can post screen shots of nice jewels I have and rings that don't belong on a barb and a worse ammy than what I've got right now. That helm is nice but I'm not sold on it, the fact remains that this barb is much better than you give it credit for. Please link me via pm to your chars, I'd love to give them sub par ratings as well and try and grasp at straws in my reasoning. Ill let you know when I post my 10 other trophy chars so you can try and belittle then as well.

it's sad how you take the thoughts on your gear as a personal attack.. there used to be days one could discuss about builds/gear without people getting upset.
